Bankstown Central development works - temporary bus stop closures
Temporary bus stop closures from 4am Wednesday 6 November 2024 to 4am Sunday 6 July 2025, development work at Bankstown Central will result in the following bus stop closures:- Bus stop Bankstown Central, The Appain Way, Stand E (2200361) will close: o The alternative stop for the 960 towards Sutherland will be Bankstown Station, North Terrace, Stand H (2200157).
- The 960 services that normally terminate at this stop will terminate at bus stop Bankstown Central, The Mall, Stand D (2200385).
- Special event services towards Olympic Park will use bus stop Bankstown Central, Link Rd, Stand A (220012).
- Special event services towards Sutherland will use bus stop Bankstown Central, the Mall, Stand C (2200384).
- Bus stop Bankstown Central, The Mall, Stand B (220039) will close. The alternative stop will be Bankstown Central, Link Rd, Stand A (220012) for the 907, 908, 909, 911, 912, 920, M90 and M91 services towards Bankstown.

Sydney CBD diversions due to Police Operation
Route buses will be diverting from 8.30am to 10.30am approx. due to road closures in place for a planned Police Operation protest march in the Sydney CBD.
Buses to and from Central will be diverting and travel via Elizabeth St, Wentworth Ave and Goulburn St then return normal route. Stops on Eddy Ave and Pitt St at Central will be missed. Alight the bus on Elizabeth St and continue on foot, catch buses leaving the city from Elizabeth St.Cause: DEMONSTRATION

Due to Lennox Grom Fest, buses will divert via Byron St to Stewart St, and will not travel along Pacific Parade.School services will use Stewart Street in the opposite direction to their usual route.

Change to Rutherford Technology High School bus services and pass requirements from 26 May
From Monday 26 May, students travelling in the morning from the Rutherford and Aberglasslyn areas to Rutherford Technology High School are to use the 2712 service (operated by CDC NSW), instead of the S520 service (operated by Grace Coaches).
What's changing:- There is a slight timetable difference between the S520 and 2712, so please check TripPlanner to plan your journey.
- Students on the 2712 service by CDC NSW will need an Opal card. If you don’t already have one, find out more about how to apply for a pass.
- The 2712 will drop students closer to Rutherford Technology High School than the S520 previously did – arriving at Alexandra Ave after Weblands St (232097) at 08:32.
- Afternoon travel is not affected.
- Plan your trip and check timetables before you travel.
